How can you get Google to quickly index and index your website? This article will teach you 4 ways to quickly increase indexing and indexing - Sitemap sitemap submission , Ping submission, and tool submission.
The reading time of this article is 15-20 minutes, and there are many operations, please read it patiently. Some links require scientific Internet access before they can be accessed!
Compared with Baidu , the Google search engine is much smarter, and it is also very friendly to new sites. So you don't have to worry about your English website indexing and indexing. But the problem is that Google still has a time period for processing inclusion and indexing, and most webmasters of new sites can't wait. So what I teach you today is actually to shorten the processing cycle.
Let's start with the most official practice.
1. Google's official recommended practice: Sitemap Sitemap submission
Sitemaps can indeed help you increase your indexing and indexing rates . But the disadvantage is that it is not real-time , so there is still a small cycle. Finally, I will use a case to explain to you. Let's start with the method of sitemap submission .
Go to your Google Search Console (Google Site Explorer, or Google Webmaster Tools )
Select the Sitemap option on the left menu, click to enter and add your own sitemap address to it.
The disadvantages of sitemap submission (efficiency issues) can actually be seen in Google Search Console data. Just like the picture below, the last time the map was grabbed was Jun 20, 2022, and today is Jun 23, 2022.
If the webmaster has done any content optimization for these pages between the 23rd and the 28th, it is estimated that the Google search engine will not find this optimization operation, let alone participate in better rankings.
2. An easy-to-use and quick submission method - Ping submission
Ping submission, I wrote detailed instructions before. In this section, I will only briefly explain the practice. If you want to know more about the practice of Ping submission, you can directly click the link to view it.
You just need to prepare the URL of the page you want to include or index, or a list of URLs (such as a sitemap page). Using the method of Ping submission can quickly let Google crawl . Here's how to ping submissions.
Open a browser and enter in the browser address bar:
copyhttps: //google.com/ ping ?sitemap=The address of the web page you need to submit, or the address of the URL list page
And put the URL of the page you need to submit after the equal sign, or a link to the URL list page, and press Enter to visit the page. After waiting for the result below, it means that the submission is successful, no more operations are required, it is very simple.
The result of my test here is that after the new website only performs Ping submission, it will be indexed about the next day . If the index data is updated, it will take about 2-3 days. Therefore, using this method to improve the efficiency of indexing/indexing is still very impressive .
The advantages of Ping submission: the submission operation is fast, and the Google processing cycle is short. At the same time , you can also submit external links , which is very effective.
The downside is that if you are submitting a URL list page, the more URLs the slower the processing. For Nissan's hundreds of pages of information sites, information sites , this method is not the best .
3. My most recommended tool submission (seconds index second)
There are many tools and many tests. Here we recommend a submission tool - Link Processor.
The Link Processor tool is more convenient than the above two methods. It is extremely efficient , and can be included and indexed in seconds . Here's how to do it.
Visit the Link Processor official website and register an account yourself. Choose a package that suits you, log in to your account and enter the submission background. As shown below.
After filling in the Project Name (project name, optional), you can paste the URL you need to submit directly below, or upload the txt file of the URL list (one URL per line), select the period, and click OK.
Regarding the choice of cycle: Generally, I will default to Drip feed links within 7 Days (the operation is completed in 7 days). Because 7 days is a small cycle for Google to update data, you don't have to worry too much, it is basically grabbed in seconds.
The principle of promoting inclusion and indexing : Link Processor actually divides the submission into three links . The first step is to ping your link to their website in batches. The second step is to add your link to their Sitemap and submit it. The third link is to add a lot of external link resources to your links to attract spiders to crawl.
Note: External links can also be submitted in this way ! The efficiency of the pro-test external chain has increased from 20% to 80% !
You can understand it this way, this tool actually helps you realize the above two steps, and also adds a step to submit for you. Three-step submission ensures your indexing and indexing efficiency.
4. March 21, 2019 Supplement: New Search Console page submission method
In March of this year, Google Search Console has removed the old Fetch As Google (simulated Google spider crawling) feature . Ported this functionality to the new URL Inspection tool in the new Search console .
Operation method : Click the "URL Check" report, and put the URL of the page you just updated in the top input box.
And when the results appear, click Request Indexing on the page . Search engines will crawl your pages as fast as they can and index your pages at the same time. (Indexing means your page is eligible to rank)
At the same time, this feature will also help you to check whether your page is mobile-optimized, because when Google crawls it, it will be crawled with Google Smart phone bot. Click "Coverage" in the results to observe a detailed crawl report.
At the same time, if you are very concerned about Google's crawling effect, it is recommended to click the "View Crawled Pages" option to view detailed crawling information. It will tell you, in the current page, which ones have been crawled and which ones have not been crawled.
For those that are not crawled, further optimization may be required. (such as 404 resources, etc.)
How can I check whether my page is included?
It is necessary to literate everyone here. In fact, there is a big difference between the so-called collection and the collection in the essential sense. Most of the population said that the index should refer to the index .
focus on literacy
- Inclusion – means that the search engine has crawled the page and has stored your URL, but has not scanned the page information corresponding to your URL for the time being.
- Indexing – refers to the fact that the search engine crawls the content of the page in the corresponding URL and stores the content in the database .
Got it?
In the end you have to see not how many are indexed, but how many pages are indexed. A page that is not indexed means that your page is not doing well enough in some places (duplicate pages, short empty pages, missing Canonical markup, etc.).
Therefore, it is better to check the index number of your website than to check the number of indexing . (Of course, in this article, in order to facilitate everyone's understanding, you can understand the index as inclusion, and I will also collectively refer to it as inclusion)
There are three ways to check the index as follows :
1. Site command
View the approximate index pages of the website by entering "site: domain " in the search box of the search engine . Note: The value from the site is not the most accurate, and the value itself has no meaning. Generally speaking, we only use it when doing self-testing or adversary analysis.
If there is a person who says the site value is amazing and shows off the amount of data from the site, this person is probably a SB.
2. Search page title (suitable for judging a single page)
Search the page title to see if the corresponding page appears in Google's search results. If present, it represents the index. Otherwise, it may mean that the impression has not been indexed.
The principle of this method is actually very simple, because the title is a unique symbol of your page. Searching for a title is also a type of search behavior, and finding results through a title search means that the page has been stored in the search engine's database.
3. (most recommended) New Google Search Console
The most official, of course, is with the help of Google Webmaster Tools ! Of course, you have to verify your site on the Google Search Console tool beforehand. It takes 2-3 days to see the data.
In Search Console's coverage report, there's a stat called "Active Pages." This is your index page. Below the report, you can also see the detailed URL list of detailed index pages (maximum 1000).
4. Other "methods"
Of course, some people will tell you that you can use browser plug-ins such as: SEO quake, SEOwizard, etc. to check the index value, and so on. In fact, these values are derived from the first method I just talked about. Do not believe? Just try it yourself and you'll know. So, here "method" I used double quotes. Not really a method.
To reiterate again, focus on attention - the number of Sites has nothing to do with the quality of the website and the level of weight.
Here is something to watch out for! What kind of pages will not be indexed by Google?
To be clear, Google and Baidu are not the same. Google usually includes first and then judges, while Baidu is first to judge and then index. This has led to a decline in Google's indexing. If you find in your own GSC data (Google Search Console): Effective pages in your coverage report have decreased, it is likely that Google has removed your inactive pages.
Google will not delete your website's index data for no reason, but the following situations will cause your index to drop.
- The page cannot generate keyword exposure for a long time (such pages are always stored in the Google database is a waste of space)
- Duplicated pages can cause Google to place the included pages in the Excluded Pages report.
- The page has become a short empty page for special reasons, causing Google to delete the page's inclusion.
- The website touches the Google algorithm , leading to Google K station.
- The page violated Google's rules and was reported. (usually cheating by external links)
I suggest that you review the 5 elements I put forward before trying to submit in 4 ways. If you are involved in any of these, it may cause your index to drop.
Finally, give you suggestions on how to improve the collection
The Sitemap method is good, but generally we only need to submit it once at the beginning of the new site online .
Ping submission can be done when the content is updated every day and the external chain is updated .
Meanwhile, in addition to Ping submissions, you can submit them using the URL inspection feature in the New Search console that I just updated .
The final tool submission (Link Processor) is actually the last line of defense to ensure page inclusion or indexing .
Now, have you learned how to improve page indexing?
